At the end of last month, Advent Bioservices announced their CDMO, based in Sawston near Cambridge, has received GMP certification from the MHRA. It took just two years to build systems from the ground up to the point where they are now approved to manufacture ATMPs within their clean room suites under both ‘Specials’ and MIA(IMP) licences. Advent stated, “This has been an incredible effort by our amazing team, especially considering that much of this has been done during the pandemic period”.
