The first group of advanced therapy apprentices met face-to-face for the first time today when they gathered at NHS Blood & Transplant Filton to attend the introduction to ATMP course.

The Level 5 Advanced Therapies Scientist apprentices are each employed by advanced therapy companies in the UK, whilst also studying Applied Biological Sciences via distance learning with the University of Kent and receiving advanced therapy specific training from a cohort of advanced therapy companies. The training delivered by NHS Blood & Transplant was the first cohort training to be delivered.
