Oxford Biomedica is a gene and cell therapy company specialising in the development of gene-based medicines. It was established in 1995 as a spin out from Oxford University. The Company’s development pipeline includes investigational treatments for cancer, Parkinson’s disease and retinopathy.

Successful applicants will be enrolled as apprentices within Oxford Biomedica’s Validation team. The Validation team represents the business in customer audits and regulatory inspections to demonstrate compliant systems.

Apprentices will use specialised technical skills and develop their skills to be able to identify equipment, controls and processes that need to be qualified via the validation department. They will operate within a highly regulated environment because of the need to control quality and safety of Advanced Therapies.

Upon completion of a Level 6 SIPPE Degree apprenticeship individuals will be fully accredited Chemical Engineers with a strong understanding of Validation.
