Every two months we invite an interesting and inspirational leader from the bioprocessing industry to speak at a webinar to the ATAC apprentices. The speaker talks about their interesting and often-varied career story, the path that led them where they are today, and provides some useful advice ideal for current and future leaders. Hosting this webinar also brings apprentices at all levels from across the ATAC network closer to key people in the industry.

It is our pleasure to confirm the speaker for November 2023 – Anna Perdrix Rosell, Founder and co-CEO of Sixfold Bioscience, a venture-backed biotechnology company developing drug delivery systems for RNA therapeutics. There, she leads a multidisciplinary team of scientists at the interface of biology, chemistry and computation. After graduating from King’s College London with an MRes in Translational Cancer Medicine, she went on to complete a PhD in Cancer Research at the Francis Crick Institute, London. Recently, she complemented her scientific training with an MBA. Her scientific contributions have been published in prestigious journals (e.g. current biology, Cell and Nature Medicine) and have led to multiple patent applications. She is the lead investigator in 10+ projects funded by the European Union and UK funding bodies. Her scientific entrepreneurial journey has been recognised by Forbes on the 30 under 30 Science and Healthcare list (2018), amongst others.
